Question:  You are asked to see a child with CHARGE syndrome for bilateral severe hearing impairment.  The child meets criteria for cochlear implantation and imaging is obtained in the form of a CT scan of the temporal bones.  You notice absent semicircular canals and narrowing of the cochlear aperture.  What is your next step in the work up of this patient prior to cochlear implantation?  [Answer will be posted with next week's new question]
